I met Nils Jensen, choir leader and orchestra conductor, Berlin based like me, while preparing a common project. We got along very well from the beginning. Though both of us work on different musical spheres, too, for us, the sound of choral voices is the most original and beautiful you can think of in music made by human beings.
We felt the urge to find a new approach to this beauty by using a new music, by performing demanding rehearsals and by a contemplative way of creating concerts. In September 2024, this need led us to launch the Cantus Academy, a space for Triadic Chants.
Yesterday we finally launched the website, you may visit us now on cantus.academy. It is still in German, an English version to follow soon.
